Human relations group to present award
Award named in honor of former chairperson

FREEHOLD, NJ – The Monmouth County Human Relations Commission (MCHRC) will present its second Earl Thomas Teasley Humanitarian Award at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. The recipient will be Colleen Volpe, Volunteer Coordinator for The Center in Asbury Park.

Ms. Volpe coordinates volunteers at The Center in
Asbury Park, a resource for people living with HIV/AIDS.  She creates innovative ways in which volunteers can help with the mission of the center. Her pure heart and tireless efforts are a strong example of humanitarianism at its best.

Brookdale Community College. Information about Teasley may be found in the Scrapbook section of the MCHRC web pages at http://monmouthcountyhrc.org

The public is welcome to attend this free ceremony. RSVPs are suggested to reserve a seat. Light refreshments will be served.
